Interstate 70 East begins at Exit 132 on Interstate 15 in Utah. This interchange between I-15 and I-70 is a trumpet interchange.  (Photo taken 5/27/16).

View from the ramp from Interstate 15 North to Interstate 70 East. This marks the beginning of Interstate 70 Eastbound, and one of the most scenic (albeit desolate) Interstate drives in Utah.  (Photo taken 5/27/16).

Since we're about to immediately climb a long, steep grade on Interstate 70 East, a Chain-Up Area exists off Exit 1 for trucks.  (Photo taken 5/27/16).

A Rest Stop also exists at Exit 1.  (Photo taken 5/27/16).

When the lights on this sign are flashing, chains or snow tires are required to proceed beyond Exit 1 and up the long, steep grade. Use Exit 1 if you need to chain up.  (Photo taken 5/27/16).
